Pyramid – Lazy River

$1.99

Express your creativity and have fun assembling this hand-drawn design.  It was inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing, which uses simple strokes in a mindful way to create small works of art.  Enjoy this activity with your kids, too, as you make something beautiful together.  This classical pyramid (one of the Platonic Solids) is made up of 4 equilateral triangles and a square base and is the kind you see in Egypt.  Make as many pyramids as you like to use as tabletop decorations, gifts for friends, wall art, tree ornaments, gift containers, etc.

This digital file makes a 3” wide pyramid (plus 2 smaller sizes) with 6 different designs, called tangles; what makes these tangles especially interesting is that they showcase how simple lines, curves and dots can be combined in many different ways to form repetitive patterns.  The file has four color versions and three sizes. There is a black and white one you can color. I have already colored a second version, but you can certainly add even more color.  The third has a rust hue which can also have color added, and the fourth version is green.

To make your pyramid, all you need is scissors, rubber cement or glue, and a bit of patience. I know you’ll have as much fun making it as I did drawing it.
