Hexagonal Tall Prism – Leaves & Friends
Express your creativity and have fun assembling this hand-drawn design. It was inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing, which uses simple strokes in a mindful way to create small works of art. Enjoy this activity with your kids, too, as you make something beautiful together. An hexagonal prism is made up of 6 rectangles and hexagons for the top and base. Make as many prisms as you like to use as tabletop decorations, gifts for friends, wall art, tree ornaments, gift containers, etc.
This digital file makes a 3” tall x 2-1/2” wide prism with 16 different designs, called tangles; there are six kinds of leaves and six types of critters. The file has two color versions. There is a black and white one you can color. The one with a green background can also have color added.
To make your prism, all you need is scissors, rubber cement or glue, and a bit of patience. I know you’ll have as much fun making it as I did drawing it.
