Cube #4 - Leaves Times Six

$1.99

Express your creativity and have fun by coloring and easily gluing together this adorable cube I created with 6 Zentangle® patterns (called tangles). Enjoy this activity with your kids, too, as you make something beautiful and personalize it with the colors of your choice. Make as many cubes as you like to use as tabletop decorations, wall art, tree ornaments, gift containers, etc. Inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing, which uses simple strokes in a mindful way to create small works of art, I create small hand-drawn artworks incorporating many tangles. For this cube the leaf tangles I used are Damsel Leaf, Finegogh, Gingo, Icanthis, Sampson, and Verdigogh. I selected these tangles to showcase the interesting shapes you can create with simple curved and nearly straight lines.

This digital file makes a 2-1/4” cube with 6 different tangles. The file has three different version of the cube. There is a black and white one you can color. The one with a green background can also have color added. The third version I have colored in for you.

To make your cube, all you need is scissors, rubber cement or glue, and a bit of patience. Make it special by adding color with colored pens or pencils, fine line markers, crayons, or watercolors. I know you’ll have as much fun making it as I did drawing it.
